![]() Take a look at the books of the Library Glinos Foundation hosts the libraries and the personal files of both Dimitris and Andre Glinos, and the photographic files of the Glinos family. The libraries of Dimitris and Andre Glinos number over 5,000 volumes of books and magazines. The biggest part of this material consists of books relating to medicine and biology, as well as pedagogics, philosophy, psychology, social sciences and politics. Besides the Greek titles, there is a great number of German and English books and magazines, as well as material in French and Italian language. The library of D. Glinos has a series of rare scientific magazines and newspapers, mainly Greek and German, from the beginning of the 20th century up to the interwar period. Andre Glinos archives include his scientific papers in American, mainly, journals, as well as a number of related indexed papers. This material is supplemented by documents related to the background of the publication of Dimitris Glinos Collected Works, and the establishment of the Glinos Foundation. Dimitris Glinos archives include material from the first four decades of the 20th century, that is extended in the fields of philosophy, sociology, pedagogics and teaching methods. The archives also include a lot of courses timetables for primary, secondary and higher education, as well as extensive material related to the language question in Greece and the actions of the Educational Club (Ekpedefthikos Omilos). Moreover, materials are included pertaining to issues such as the migration question, feminism, the political and social crisis in the interwar era in Greece, and the rise of fascism in Europe.
